One of the key missions of the ZalaZONE InnoTech is to introduce the Automotive Proving Ground near the city of Zalaegerszeg and its activities to the local community, especially to the young generations.

As part of our socialization program launched at the beginning of the year, we have been contacted local schools and organized thematic visits for student groups. During the summer, we opened the doors also to the children who are spending holiday time in the summer camp of the János Csere János Apáczai Cultural Center in Zalaegerszeg.

The visit started with a presentation and introduction to the ZalaZONE Automotive Proving Ground, followed by a guided tour of the facility where they could view the different modules. The last stop was the university track module where the children got to see the research testing of autonomous cars and drones.

The visit finished with a lively quiz session where the most skilled and quick participants could win souvenirs.

The main aim of the initiative is to make young people aware that a world-class research and innovation test center operates in their city and to provide them with an insight into potential future career paths at ZalaZONE.
