Prime Minister of the Federation of BIH visited ZalaZONE

Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić led a 33-member government and business delegation to the ZalaZONE Automotive Proving Ground on Thursday, October 25. The high-level government delegation, that traveled to Hungary on an official visit, included Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Minister of Development, Enterprise and Crafts Vojin Mijatović, Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić, and Minister of Agriculture, Water and Forestry Kemal Hrnjić; Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar.

In addition to the BIH government delegation, representatives of business associations and entrepreneurs were also present, including representatives of state and industrial companies.

The delegation was welcomed at the test track’s conference center by Dr. András Háry, CEO of ZalaZONE Industrial Park Ltd., and Dr. Zoltán Weltsch, head of the Zalaegerszeg Innovation Park.

After a short reception, the Bosnian guests heared presentations about the ZalaZONE park, the test track and its activities, and were then shown around by Kálmán Gangel, technical director of the AVL-ZalaZONE company, visiting test track modules as well as sections of the high-speed oval track under construction. During the talks, a number of connection possibilities between ZalaZONE and Bosnian institutions and companies were defined, which could later serve as a basis for cooperation
