On October 10, 2025, the ZalaZONE Automotive Proving Ground hosted a key-professional demo-day of the National Laboratory of Cooperative Technologies (KTNL). TECHTRA Zrt., as the consortium leader, organized the event.for the National Laboratories Advisory Committee to showcase cutting-edge progress.

KTNL— a consortium of academic institutions and industrial companies — is focused on autonomously coordinating robotic assets, including ground and aerial vehicles, using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Their core mission is to develop dual-use technologies applicable across vital sectors, from agriculture and medical fields to national defense.

Following an insightful presentation by technical leader Dr. Viktor Tihanyi and the program managers, the day moved to the track for live action, including laboratory visits and on-site demonstrations to highlight tangible project results.
The highlight was a realistic cooperative interception simulation. An intelligent system, featuring robotic and sensor platforms, instantly detected an unauthorized entry into a protected zone. What followed was a synchronized response: autonomous assets efficiently approached the target, successfully encouraging them to leave the area.

This demonstration successfully proved KTNL’s mastery in dual-use AI technologies and solidified ZalaZONE’s position as the premier testing ground for these crucial future capabilities, reinforcing their leading role in domestic AI development.
