Building the Future: Use of AI in Construction Industry

2025.04.11.

The application of artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important in the construction industry, as emphasized by Prof. László Palkovics, Government Commissioner for Artificial Intelligence, and Gábor Deák, CEO of ZÁÉV Zrt. The meeting took place last Friday in the conference center of the ZalaZONE Conference Center, also constructed by ZÁÉV Zrt.

During the meeting, three potential areas of collaboration were identified: The first is planning, where ZÁÉV already uses applications for process optimization. The second is defect detection, which allows the structure and connections of steel structures to be checked using artificial intelligence before concreting. The third is pricing, where AI can assist in the preparation of bids for building construction.

The meeting was also attended by László Vigh, a member of parliament, and Ferenc Magyar, managing director of ZalaZONE InnoTech Nonprofit Ltd., further strengthening collaboration to maximize the benefits of artificial intelligence in the construction industry on a broader scale.
