ZalaZONE Research & Innovation was happy to host the Formula Student Easter organized by the Association of Automotive Engineers on the ZalaZONE Automotive Proving Ground!
Formula Student is an international engineering design competition first held by the Society of Automotive Engineers in 1979 in the US. The goal is to develop and provide a platform for student engineers to experience, build, and learn. It offers a unique way to test students’ theoretical knowledge in a practical context. The growing popularity of the competition is proven by the rising number of participants and new events all over the years.
FSEast is part of the international engineering competition series organized by the Association of Automotive Engineers representing the Eastern European automotive region. The competition provides the chance for FS teams from the Eastern European region to compete in an international environment.

Formula Student Easter is the preparation event before the start of each year’s racing season and offers preparation opportunities in all 3 main sessions: scrutineering, dynamic and static event, for both Hungarian and International teams before the race season. After successful years, the event was held again this year from 16th to 18th June on the ZalaZONE Automotive Proving Ground!
